Now Open Alexa AI Voice Assistant in Web Browser

The Amazon’s Voice Assistant Device ‘Echo’ is gathering good reviews among users. So, the Amazon has launched the Web Interface, similar to the Echo environment, which allows ordinary people like us to check and use the Amazon Echo’s software. The Amazon has launched http://echosim.io website, which contains the basic version of Amazon Alexa AI Voice Assistant software. On this site, we can test and try the Alexa and give voice commands to do simple stuff.

For using the Alexa AI Voice Assistant, the user has to open the http://echosim.io and log in to the site using his/her Amazon Account once successfully logged in, the user can start using the web-based interface of the Alexa. The Alexa comes with recognition to basic commands, which can check the time, temperature, weather, price and many other necessary things, which the Google Now can do. As it is a web-based edition, we cannot get the full experience as the “Amazon Echo” users are getting. The Users can give voice commands via the “Microphone” button provided on the screen.

The echosim.io was built by the Nexmo developer advocate Sam Machin at the Hackathon arranged by Amazon in 2015. This online platform has designed to help those people who don’t have access to the Amazon Echo Machines. With this platform, users can know how the Alexa AI Voice Assistant works and how to use it.
