An incredible demonstration of artificial intelligence in action from Google Assistant was demoed at Google I/O 2018 by CEO Sundar Pichai. Google Assistant conducted an actual phone call to schedule an appointment. The conversation is fascinating, Google Assistant was able to find a new time to book the appointment since the desired time was booked. A conversation seemed to happen…and Google Assistant even talked naturally complete with Mm-hmm and other sounds like that. It was an intriguing demonstration of how naturally AI can interact with another person during a live call. Watch the video clip below.
