Richard Branson invests $28 Million in a Shark Tank failure

We first saw Ring, the internet-connected video door bell on Shark Tank where it impressed the Sharks, but failed to get an investment. Then, in late 2015 Richard Branson made a stunning investment of $28 Million into the startup. Branson was halfway around the world, as he explains in this interview with Fortune magazine, when a chance encounter convinced him of the product’s value.
