Although nothing is set in stone, yet rumors suggest that this year, Google will be bringing all sorts of stuff. Since Google has already announced Android N, the latest version of Android, earlier this year, thus, it might not lay special importance to it during the conference. However, with the merging of Android N and Google Chrome, it might get the exposure it needs, reported The Verge.

Additionally, it is also rumored that Google has been planning a virtual reality platform revolving around Android for quite some time. This is why the Android VR can be a major attraction for this year’s Google’s tech conference.

As with any tech tycoon, Google also has a finger in every pie, and thus this year’s I/O conference might include self-driving cars, which are part of Google X project.

Moreover, it has also been rumored that Google is all set to launch Chirp, a product that will compete with Amazon Alexa, according to Tech Crunch. So, Google might also drop some insights on this matter.

Other major products of Google, which will likely gain exposure includes an “Echo” competitor and Project Tango. Project Tango is Google’s effort to build computer vision solutions, which allow devices like VR headsets and smartphones to understand their position, map out the environment and perform augmented reality functions without any external marker.

So, with all the above apps and features ready to be launched soon, it seems that Google’s I/O Conference for 2016 will definitely be worth attending.

The conference will be starting from 10 a.m. PDT and will last from May 18 to May 20.
