Google Home

One of the biggest problems with virtual assistants and smart speakers which greatly enhance the way we live our lives is that they only work with a single account. The latest version of Google Home app is showing some signs that the tech giant is working towards a way of improving its functionality as it is going to receive some much needed support for multi-users.

There are some hints in the code which suggest their future devices or software to be able to recognize a user’s voice without needing to be trained. The Google device will soon be able to recognize to whom it is speaking to and tech enthusiasts are going to have a blast by Google adding a multi-voice support to their Google Home device.

Google is yet to release a statement which supports the upcoming feature of Google home and when asked about this feature, they have state that they are working towards improving the way in which people will interact with Google Home but they do not have any specific updates at this given time.

There are a lot of tech manufacturers who have entered the smart speaker game and they show no signs of working towards a system which knows to whom is it talking to thus being one of the device’s biggest limitations yet. Having a digital assistant is extremely beneficial but if commands are not recognized by any other people living under the same roof, such devices seem a little bit lackluster.

Amazon is also working towards their Alexa being able to recognize multiple voice patterns and the feature is pretty much set to receive an update as they are working towards fixing the latest privacy concerns. It is already able to switch between users but those who use the device need to manually switch between them.

Google’s multi-user support is extremely early in development and there is a slight chance that it will hit Google Home devices anytime soon. It seems that the project is still in the works and we are yet to hear an announcement made by the tech giant regarding this concern.
