Do you want to turn on your Hyundai? Use Amazon’s Alexa

Have you ever wanted to turn on your car from inside the house? Now this thing is possible thanks to Hyundai and Amazon. These two brands are now using their technologies to make customers happier.  If you own a Hyundai Genesis G90 sedan you will be able to use voice commands to have your car perform basic functions.

This feature is possible due to Amazon’s system named Alexa. We know that those of you who have already bought  the car are enjoying the news. How will this program work? Well, for example, you want your car to start before you get to it. You will have to say “Alexa, tell Genesis to start my car” and that will happen. You will be able to do this while you are sitting in your bed, which is great.

Hyundai seems to have bigger plans as they are the first one with this feature. The officials said that this is an accomplishment given how many major companies want to make their customers more satisfied while using technology. The executive director of digital business planning said that the Genesis brand is about saving time. We live in a period where everyone has so many things to do in a short period of time. The fact that we can use high-tech features to order basic functions for our car is a huge discovery.

There are situations when you remember you did not lock your car, but you are already in bed. By using this feature, you will just have to say the words to Alexa and it will take care of it. Amazon’s Echo system is one of the most popular home digital assistants. You can ask Alexa random questions or play music while searching for new things to buy.

If you are using a Genesis G90 and want to find out more about how Alexa works, you will have to sign up. You Amazon account will be linked to the Genesis connected services, which are free for three years. Hyundai is one of the most popular companies in the world, with millions of cars sold every year. It has more than 6000 dealerships and showrooms in the whole world.

What do you think? Is Hyundai going to reach more users by using Amazon’s Alexa?
