Amazon has been busy integrating Alexa with several devices apart from the Echo but it’s getting a rival in the form of Google Home with the Google Assistant. Amazon has a bit of an edge because it was ahead in the game but we all know Google has more reach. Amazon better needs to double time so Alexa will be “heard” all throughout the country.
The top e-commerce site has recently partnered with Pizza Hut to allow Alexa understand your command and order a pizza. This means you can just sit on your coach and then bark your order from Pizza Hut through Alexa. You don’t even have to get your phone, tablet, or computer to order something because Alexa will help you.
Any Amazon Alexa device can understand a new set of commands pertaining to pizzas only from Pizza Hut. Honestly, it’s a fun way to order your favorite food but take note that not everything on the menu can be ordered.
Say “Alexa, ask Pizza Hut for a Pizza, please.” and choose from any of the following items: Pepperoni Pizza, Cheese Pizza, Veggie Lover’s Pizza, Meat Lover’s Pizza, Supreme Pizza, Breadsticks, Cinnamon Sticks, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mist Twist, and Mountain Dew.
The Pizza Hut skill for Alexa is available beginning today. Alexa already knows your address, phone number, and other details so it can directly order for you. Alexa will search for the nearest store to place an order. It’s that easy.
