Hyundai’s latest and greatest luxury sedan, the 2017 Genesis G90, is gearing up to go on sale across America at the end of this month. On this occasion the Korean car maker announced the MSRP of the G90, which starts at $68,100 and goes up to $72,200. So yes, you still get a massive bang for your buck in addition to a new and more interesting design that brings the Genesis up a level in terms of prestige.
The Korean S-Class launches in its new version with a 3.3 liter twin-turbo V6 engine in the base model and it can be hooked to either a rear-drive () or a an all-wheel-drive () chassis. Those who want something with a bit more punch can still order the 5.0 liter V8 model which also comes with a choice or rear and all-wheel-drive. All 2017 Genesis G90 models can be specified with advanced technology features, some of which are kind of gimmicky, like the new Amazon Alexa skill that allows owners to send remote voice commands to the G90 through Genesis Connected Services.
The more important technology features in the new G90 that actually matter include Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection, Driver Attention Alert (DAA), Smart Blind Spot Detection (SBSD) with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Keep Assist (LKA) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Dynamic Bending Light (DBL) and High Beam Assist, Pre-safety seat belt and nine airbags, Smart Cruise Control with Stop/Start, Electronic Parking Brake with Automatic Vehicle Hold, Multi-view and forward-view cornering camera, and Front and rear parking sensors.
