During a 20 minute demo, the team gave Viv different commands. The first given command was about the weather, “What’s the weather like at home today”. Followed by “Was it raining in Seattle three Thursdays ago? ” “will it be warmer than 70 degrees near the Golden Gate Bridge, after 5PM, the day after tomorrow?” Surprisingly, Viv was able to answer all of these questions, without facing any difficulties during the process.
The demo even showed how Viv processes queries by turning sounds into words that generate intent, which uses Dynamic Program Generation. This program allows the software to write itself. It also enables Viv to write all dialogues and content within 10-milliseconds of voice command. The demo further demonstrated conversational commerce.
It also allows you to use voice command to operate several options like sending someone money, purchasing flowers for someone, the best part about the AI is that it already equipped with all the information, so that you will not have to insert any information like the address or the contact number. You are also able to book hotel rooms at your favorite hotel without any problem, you can also catch a ride, all you need to say is “I need a car for X amount of people from point Y to point Z.”
The demonstration continued with insights to Viv’s brain to see how the module is structured inside in different areas. Each area has its own model that is linked to Viv and other different categories, like Food is linked to Recipe, which is further linked to online purchases that are linked to your wallet, so everything here is chained to each other. Viv gives developers a broad platform for creativity and exploration while giving consumers the leverage to be able to have a proper conversation with an assistance that can easily comprehend you and reply accordingly.
