Pre-order the slim smartwatch in polished gold or silver.
Just when you thought Pebble couldn’t possibly announce anything else, the smartwatch maker today revealed two 20mm, special-edition rewards: the Pebble Time Round in polished gold or silver.
“These special editions feature everything fans cherish about Pebble Time Round’s ‘modern classic’ design—the always-on display, up to two days of battery life, Pebble Health, a mic for voice features, thousands of custom apps and faces, compatibility with Pebble Core and the upcoming Pebble 4.0 operating system—in new finishes that pop in all the right ways,” the company said in a blog post.
Pre-order the new $199 models on Kickstarter to receive an exclusive laser engraving ahead of the September shipping date. Backers can also spend $298 for one Pebble Time Round and one Pebble 2—the $99 update to the original Pebble Smartwatch. The monochrome device comes with a built-in heart rate monitor (HRM), sleep and step tracking, Android and iOS compatibility, week-long battery life, built-in microphone, and a massive storefront with more than 13,000 apps.
Introduced last month, the second-gen watch is available now on Kickstarter, alongside the $169 Pebble Time 2 and $69 Pebble Core—the company’s first non-smartwatch device. With a 3G connection via SIM card, built-in headphone jack, and Amazon Alexa integration, the Core was built for runners.
The Pebble Core, Pebble 2, and Pebble Time 2 are currently exclusive to the crowdfunding platform, but will eventually come to Pebble.com and other retailers later this year and in early 2017.
With 14 days left in its campaign, Pebble has earned more than $11 million from 58,000 backers.
