While streaming may be increasing in popularity, there are still plenty of people who prefer satellite radio. Just in time for last-minute holiday shopping, Grace Digital has announced its latest streaming radio, the SiriusXM Sound Station.
“By releasing a Wi-Fi table radio in collaboration with SiriusXM, we’re offering today’s generation of consumers a unique and easy way to stay connected to their favorite shows and channels, live events, concerts, and more,” Grace Digital CEO Greg Fadul said in a statement. “The SiriusXM platform has drastically increased over the years so to keep on trend with ensuring our customers have a full gamut of connectivity options, we wanted to be sure SiriusXM was on the roster.”

Despite the generally small size of the Sound Station, it features a large color display that can show channel information and even album art while playing. This also makes it easy for subscribers to customize their listening experience with the Sound Station’s MySXM feature. Up to 10 favorite channels can be set as well, making it easy to start listening immediately.
Like Grace Digital’s other radios and speakers, the Sound Station offers full-range sound with a built-in equalizer. The Sound Station can be set up anywhere in the user’s home by using Wi-Fi, or via a wired connection when using an optional Ethernet adapter. For those setting up the radio in a bedroom, multiple alarms with sleep and snooze timers are also included.
“This terrific new product from Grace Digital offers room-filling sound, a compact and modern design, and a vivid display to create a rich listening experience for our subscribers,” SiriusXM director of connected home product management Dave Horoschak said. “The Sound Station gives our listeners, many of whom listen to our content in the car and on their mobile devices, another option to enjoy our world class music and programming with high fidelity sound in their home, office, or anywhere an internet connection is available.”
