TORONTO, ON – 2016 LPR Global Technology Forum, co-hosted by the Korean federal government agency, Small Business Corporation, will be held in Seoul, South Korea on October 20th, 2016.
The 2016 LPR Global Technology Forum will provide industry-focused discussions, executive networking, and global partnership opportunities to participating companies from South Korea, USA, Canada, England, Netherlands, Poland, China, and India.
The key topics at the event are smart factories, Internet of Things, and digital manufacturing. Industry experts will present how globalization impacts every aspect of operations for SMEs; how digital engineering connects design and production; how IoT technology accelerates innovation. Registered attendees are a mix of Korean manufacturers in the automotive, energy, and IT industries and companies from USA, Europe, and Asia.
“Globalization is not an option for SMEs. The market is changing so fast; vertical and horizontal conversion creates confusion and uncertainty for them. In addition, disruptive technology makes the traditional competitive landscape meaningless,” says Mikah Lee, CEO of LPR Global, “SMEs now have to develop their own export strategy to access new markets.”
“Korean and global SMEs are experiencing unprecedented changes in the industry caused by globalization. They now might have to cooperate with their competitors or form partnerships with vendors that they never considered before. New market dynamics require new strategies,” says Mr. Jongbum Cho, Manager of Global Cooperation Department at the Small Business Corporation. “The Small Business Corporation is excited to co-host the event with LPR Global. It will help companies learn about innovative technologies and network with potential suppliers and partners.”
The Technology Forum will be followed by 1:1 buyers’ matchmaking meetings with pre-screened suppliers, potential partners, and clients. Each year participants benefit from LPR Global’s network, industry knowledge, and research expertise; LPR Global enables global buyers to meet with all of their suppliers, and the Korean manufacturers to meet with their partners, suppliers, and clients.
Over 100 Korean, North American, and Asian automotive and energy industry executives, data experts, and manufacturing professionals are expected to participate in the 2016 LPR Global Technology Forum.
The event coincides with Korea Metal Week trade show, held at the KINTEX Expo Center, Seoul, South Korea, October 19-22, 2016.
