C by GE Lamp with Alexa
You can upgrade your living room with a modern looking lamp that includes Alexa built-in for voice control of your home and your life. Coming in Q2 2017 with no price yet.
Elgato Eve Smart Home Upgrades
The Elgato Eve smart home lineup is now smarter with a new weather sensor called Eve Degree, the Eve Smoke detector and the Eve Aqua which can intelligently control sprinklers. Elgato also announced Eve Extend, a Bluetooth LE extender that can help HomeKit devices remain connected even when far from an Apple TV. The Eve Smoke detector alerts you when it sounds with a push notification and it can also push a notification when other regular smoke alarms sound.
Sleep Number 360 Smart Bed
The new Sleep Number 360 smart bed automatically adjusts through the night to help you and your partner sleep soundly and comfortably all night long. It includes snore detection and adjustment as well as foot warming and a smart alarm to wake you up at the best time. The Sleep Number 360 Smart Bed arrives in the first half of 2017 with prices similar to the current lineup.
Carrier Smart Thermostats
Carrier is one of the biggest names in cooling and heating and now the company is ready to be on your wall controlling your Carrier heating and cooling system. The Carrier Cor 5C and 7C work with Alexa and Siri.
Ring Floodlight Cam
The Ring Floodlight Cam joins the Stick Up Cam and Ring Video Doorbell as the latest part of a whole home system. It allows you to talk, get alerts for motion, light up the outside of your home and even sound a loud alarm.
Lenovo Smart Assistant
The Lenovo Smart Assistant adds Alexa voice control to your home and if you choose the higher end model it delivers better audio than the Amazon Echo. Starting at $129 and $179 they arrive early in 2017.
Alarm.com Home Security Drone
Alarm.com announced a smart drone that can deploy autonomously to investigate potential threats in your house. There is no price or release date yet.
D-Link DIY Home Security
D-Link announced two new WiFi cameras that can help you keep an eye on your home. The D-Link HD 180 Degree WiFi Camera and HD WiFi Camera are easy to setup and even include night vision.
Dish Hopper With Alexa
The new Dish Hopper supports Alexa voice controls as well as support for multi-room music. Starting later this year you will be able to pair the Hopper to the Echo or Echo Dot to change channels and find programs to watch.
Incipio Smart Power Strip & Wall Switch
The new Incipio Wireless Smart Wall Switch and Wireless Smart Power Strip are HomeKit compatible smart home accessories that let you control all the lights in a room or up to four devices plugged into a single power strip. The switch is $59.99 and the power strip is $99.99. It arrives in the second quarter of 2017.
Amazon 4K TV with Alexa Inside
Element, Seiki and Westinghouse announced a new 4K TV that will support Alexa and Fire TV right out of the box. You’ll find a variety of sizes and prices.
First Alert Onelink Environment Monitor
First Alert lets you use Homekit or Alexa to check your child’s room using the Onelink Environment Monitor. The monitor can tell you the temperature, humidity, and carbon monoxide. It’s available now for $100.
GeniCan Smart Trash Can
The GeniCan Smart trashcan can read barcodes on things you throw away and then add them to your grocery list so that you get more the next time you are at the store. You can also add them with voice controls. It’s available for pre-order for $125.
Mattel Aristotle by Nabi
Mattel teamed up to deliver Alexa in a kid friendly package that will not only offer Alexa Voice Services but also include a kid-friendly voice assistant called Aristotle. This is $299. Find out more on Aristotle.
Samsung Family Hub 2.0
Samsung doubles down on the connected refrigerator with Family Hub 2.0. This The 21.5-inch display is coming to more fridges and there are new apps and even unique profiles for family members. Spotify is also now on the fridge.
Maximus Smart Motion Security Light
The Maximus Smart Motion Security Light is an adjustable floodlight that can turn on when it senses motion, complete with a WiFi camera and a speaker that you can use to talk to whoever or whatever is in your yard. It features a 70-foot range and an app that allows you to sound the alarm or call the police. There is also Alexa support so you can manage it using an Echo or Echo dot and other Alexa Voice services devices inside your house.
Lutron Caseta Wireless SmartThings & Nest Cam Integration
Lutron Caseta lights will soon connect with Samsung SmartThings hubs and integrate with the Nest Cam to deliver more control to users. The SmartThings integration will allow another point of control to users, adding to on the wall switches, HomeKit controls and Alexa support. The Nest Cam will allow users to turn on when a person is detected by a Nest Indoor or Outdoor Cam. This is in addition to recent controls like Sonos integration and more. Chamberlain MyQ Garage Door with HomeKit
The Chamberlain MyQ Smart Garage Hub will support Apple HomeKit by July 2017. This will be standard on new models and there is a MyQ Homebridge that will allow users to connect existing MyQ garage door openers to HomeKit and will allow MyQ light switches to work with HomeKit.
