Cisco’s Channel Core For IoT
Cisco wants in on the increasing demand for Internet of Things (IoT) solutions – and it hopes to use its channel partners to deploy IoT applications into vertical markets.
Andres Sintes, senior executive of Cisco’s Worldwide Partner Organization, told CRN that as IoT evolves, so too do the opportunities for channel partners.
Sintes, speaking before the IoT Evolution Expo last week in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., said that Cisco is starting to see end-to-end IoT solutions “involve a lot more,” opening the door for partners to deploy more services around data analytics and security.
