Automation, IoT and VR will improve sales and customer experiences

Retail, wholesale and manufacturing firms are turning to Internet of Things (IoT), Automation and Virtual Reality (VR) to drive sales and improve customer experiences.

This is in keeping with a brand new report by world ecommerce consultancy agency Salmon, which says virtually two thirds (61 %) of European firms in above talked about industries are investing and believing in IoT.

For over a 3rd (35 %), enabling IoT is among the many largest enterprise priorities for the following 12 months.

More than half (53 per] cent) need to make the most of voice interface know-how within the subsequent 5 years. Almost six in ten (59 %) need to make the most of VR and AR, whereas 69 per cent need to robots to assist them gasoline sales and enhance customer expertise.

Another 60 % could be very enthusiastic about machine studying for the following half a decade.

Munden continues: “With 74 % of companies seeking to transfer platform to fulfill future wants, it’s vital to do not forget that know-how is only one a part of the equation — who you’re employed with to assist implement that platform has a big impact on its success.
