AT&T has partnered with Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama to integrate world wide web-of-issues technologies intended to help operations and infrastructure at the installation.
The firm said Wednesday it will set up network-connected sensors at Maxwell AFB and create proof-of-idea demonstrations of intelligent perimeters, gate monitoring, notifications and fleet management, amongst other people.
Col. Don Lewis, commander of the 42nd Mission Support Group, mentioned the project will help efforts to optimize operations, conserve sources and create new concepts to execute missions at the base.
AT&T will function with Maxwell AFB&rsquos command employees as effectively as representatives from the Air University and other U.S. Air Force personnel below the project.
The base houses the Air University, the 908th Airlift Wing, the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center&rsquos company and enterprise systems directorate and a lot more than 30 tenant units.
