Apple is inviting users to provide their feedback on how they stream video. Its latest survey includes questions about the experience on iPad and the Apple TV, and could be used to shape future improvements to its products and services.
Apple occasionally distributes its own surveys to find out what users think about its latest products and services. It knows we love them for the most part, but it’s interested in finding out what we don’t like about them so it can make the right improvements.
In its latest, which appears to be going to customers who recently purchased an iPad, is focused on video streaming. Questions include “which devices were being used for streaming, and several about the Apple TV,” explains AppleInsider.
Apple also asks users about the likelihood of them purchasing another streaming media player.
Apple has placed a greater focus on the Apple TV since introducing its latest model. The device is no longer just a “hobby” for the company; it now has its own tvOS platform with an App Store and Siri integration.
A recent report claimed Apple has big plans for its next-generation set-top box, including a revamped Siri experience that’s designed to take on Amazon Alexa. However, this upgrade isn’t expected to arrive until 2017.
